Ruth H. Kim, Ph.D., PCC

Organizational Development Manager

Ruth is an experienced facilitator, manager and coach. Ruth’s mission is to guide others in their purpose towards greater self-mastery and their highest leadership selves. Her expertise is in leadership and organizational development, management consulting, and building high-performing teams and learning cultures in organizations. She integrates mindfulness, trauma-informed practice, DEIJB (diversity, equity, inclusion, justice and belonging), and eco-systemic thinking and approaches.

 Prior to joining the Training and Education Center, Ruth led teams and designed training and coaching programs in social services and child welfare. She has served as executive director, board member, and consultant to Bay Area community organizations that focus on youth, violence prevention, arts and culture, and the Asian Pacific Islander community. She has taught graduate and undergraduate classes as an adjunct professor in human rights education, ethnic studies, and sociology.

Ruth has a Ph.D. in Education and Sociology and is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. Ruth enjoys hiking, traveling, writing, building community, and spending quality time with loved ones.
