Tamara Mabry

Training Coordinator


Tamara Mabry serves as Training Coordinator for the Training & Education Center (TEC), where she supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of all countywide training programs across Alameda County. In this role, she also serves as a liaison to external vendors and provides project management support for the Learning Management System (LMS), including coordination of instructor-led training (ILT) courses and related system processes. She contributes to the coordination and alignment of countywide learning initiatives in partnership with leadership. Since joining TEC in 2012, she has supported the advancement of workforce development and organizational learning across the County.

With over a decade of experience in Human Resources, Tamara brings a strong background in training, recruitment, and career development. Her work focuses on delivering accessible, high-quality learning experiences that support employee growth and organizational effectiveness.

A Bay Area native, Tamara holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, East Bay. She also serves as a volunteer trainer and is passionate about empowering individuals—particularly underrepresented communities—to pursue their educational and career goals.

Outside of her professional role, Tamara is a proud mother of three and values outdoor time with her family. She welcomes collaboration and inquiries related to training, organizational development, and career resources.
