The Adopt-A-Family Holiday Gift program continues to help hundreds of families annually. The Program is facilitated through Social Services Agency but is made possible by the amazing generosity of local organizations, businesses, community individuals, and especially County employees.
Last year, the program made the holidays brighter for 750 families and more than 2,700 children. This year, the Training & Education Center team adopted eight children from three different families.
The Training & Education Center team feels fortunate to have been able to go through the process of identifying our sponsored families, picking out the perfect gifts, and then beautifully wrapping them. It is such a rewarding program since it truly feels better to give than to receive. Especially during the holiday season, it’s important to remember that even the tiniest gift of goodwill can go a long way.
