Learn More about the New Abusive Conduct Prevention Policy

jonathan rodriguez County Programs, News

There is a new Alameda County Abusive Conduct Prevention Policy, which all employees must read and acknowledge electronically through the Learning Management System no later than end of July.

New supervisors are required by California law to complete within their first six months of appointment training on sexual harassment prevention and the prevention of abusive conduct. Preventing & Responding to Sexual Harassment and Abusive Conduct will be offered twice in December at the Training & Education Center:

Preventing & Responding to Sexual Harassment and Abusive Conduct
Monday, December 3, 2018
9:00 am – 12:00 pm or
Wednesday, December 12, 2018
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Supervisors who have worked in their position more than six months must receive sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention training every two years. Continuing supervisors can fulfill this requirement by completing the online training through ALCOLearn, Workplace Harassment Prevention for Managers.

An online training is also available to non-supervisory staff through ALCOLearn, Workplace Harassment Prevention for Employees. If you would like an instructor-led sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention training for your staff, the Training & Education Center would be happy to provide this training for your team. If interested, please contact Ruth Kim, Senior Trainer, at 510-208-4856.
