Director

Bill Jacox is a seasoned director, facilitator, trainer, manager, and coach with substantive experience in the fields of leadership development, staff development, team building, change management, team alignment, culture, engagement, and performance. Much of his professional practice has been assessing, developing, and implementing leadership, learning, and organizational development programs within government, higher education, for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.

As Director, Bill leads the Center as the premier source for innovative learning in the County and surrounding communities. He provides expert professional organizational development assistance to County management, senior management, and private and non-profit organizations; directs the operation of our 10,000 square foot comprehensive, state-of-the-art conference facility; and develops and implements the strategic vision to operate the center as an entrepreneurial entity for the benefit of its customers and the community.

Bill holds a PhD in Leadership and Change Management from Antioch University and a Masters in Education from the University of New Hampshire. Before joining Alameda County, Bill worked as a director and senior trainer for a private East Bay management consulting firm and created and directed the Leadership and Team Development Program at the University of California, Irvine.
